Hello fellow seniors.
This is a “call to arms” of seniors, of “like mind” and purpose, to survive and thrive in this challenging economic environment that we live in.
“In unity there is strength!” The stronger your family, friends, or business ties, the greater your availability of resources, and support; to forge a successful resolution to any thorny problem that presents itself. And, trust me, “offenses will come;” but there is a sure word of assurance that we are able to be “more than conquerors,” and “this too shall pass;” if we keep close ranks, and our “anchor” of “faith” holds us true to the end.
One bold truth about us seniors is we have “been there, and done that;” and most of us already have our t-shirts as testimony. But the battle of survival is far from over, and the landscape of life is rife with pot holes and deep crevices of bankruptcy, failure and defeat.
Our life investment of time, talent and devotion are at risk of evaporation before our very eyes; unless we oversee, and become better stewards of, the Lord’s largess unto us, and “occupy” til He returns, or until He calls us.
Another thing is certain, time and circumstance will not afford us the luxury of burying our “talents,” or sitting on our laurels. If we don’t “work while it is day, the night (will) come when no man can work” …and that night, my friends, will be ‘light’s out!’
But, ”while it is day,” I want to extend this invitation to seniors of like persuasion {who presently happen to have roots in the states of TX, GA, OH, MI or NY} to consider this invitation to an awesome fraternity of active senior entrepreneurs that I am inspired to dub “The Senior Z-Brigade.”
Herein is an opportunity to summon all of your past work/business acumen …and your network of family, friends, former co-workers/employees, clients and/or customers, and parlay this wealth of natural resources into a viable circle of ‘mutual’ influence. It’s about each one reaching one, and being helpers one of the other.
